Set in a fantasy world that is based on traditional Japanese folklore and mythology, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess follows the story of Soh. He is the protector of a village on Mt. Kafuku. This is a place that has been blessed by the Goddess, but all of this changes with the coming of a mysterious black substance. It infects the area, paving the way for the Seethe to attack. With the aid of Yoshiro, Maiden of the mountain, and the inhabitants of the village, Soh needs to cleanse the land and defend against the attacks of the Seethe.

The game is divided into two parts. During the day, your job is to cleanse the village and set up defenses. And at night, the torii gates open up and the Seethe attack. This is when you will have to command the villagers and lead the defense against these evil creatures. Im particular, you will have to make sure that Yoshiro isn’t hurt.
