Those of us that are socially isolating due to the coronavirus, and that have a PlayStation 4, can download and keep Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free. “Play at Home” is basically PlayStation’s initiative to keep people indoors while we all ride out this whole COVID-19 thing. To help soften the impact of social distancing and self-isolation, they’re giving all PS4 owners two games for free; specifically, Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. The latter encompasses the first three games in the series, so really, that’s four games that you get to download and keep. You have until May 5th at 8 PM PDT. Side note: for reasons I do not understand, China and Germany will get Knack 2 instead of Uncharted. I am so sorry.

Now, I have a confession to make: I’ve never played any of the Uncharted games. I know, I know, but in my defense, I never owned a PS3, and also, I didn’t care. But now, everyone has a chance to experience these games on a more powerful system. On top of that, Uncharted 4 is free in April with PS Plus, so you can nab all four main entries in the franchise free this month. And don’t even get me started on Journey; every gamer should play it at least once.

So, there you go. Two, but actually four games that you can grab for free on your PlayStation 4, regardless whether you have PS Plus or not. One of them I know for certain is an incredible experience that everyone should try out, and three that are generally beloved by a ton of people. What are you doing here still, go and get them if you haven’t already, ’cause that’s exactly what I’m about to do.
