Using it allows you to quickly zip up to places you otherwise wouldn’t have been able to reach by foot. Not to mention – it looks cool as hell. Luckily, this contraption is likewise present in Palworld as well, though to be able to get it – you’ll need to do quite a bit of work beforehand. How to Make Grappling Gun in Palworld

So, where and how to craft the Grappling Hook? Well, you will first need to reach Level 12. Next, you have to defeat a Boss. Doing this will get you x1 Ancient Technology Point, which you can then use to unlock the Grappling Gun in the Ancient Technology research tree. Once you have done that, you will need the following materials: x30 Fiber, x10 Ingot, x10 Paldium Fragments, and x1 Ancient Civilization Part. Most of these are pretty straightforward to get, with the exception of the Ancient Civilization Part. To get this, you have to defeat Bosses and complete Cave Raids. With all the materials in your possession, the next step is to build a Weapon Workbench (if you don’t already have one), and to then craft the Grappling Gun itself.

How to Use Grappling Gun in Palworld

Equip it and you can then aim and use it to latch on to a surface and propel your character in that direction. The Grappling Hook doesn’t feature a lot of range, and there is a 10 second delay between shots, which somewhat limits the ways you can use it. On the other hand, it has infinite ammo, and you don’t need to repair it, which makes it a pretty useful tool in many situations.
