How to Remove Bear Traps in Palworld

So, once you place a Bear Trap in Palworld, can you remove it? Well, the answer is both yes and no. Namely, players have tested out many conventional methods. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t treat the traps as a building object. Hence, in the build menu, the disassembly option treats it like a non-buildable item, which you can not deconstruct. If dismantling a Bear Trap in Palworld doesn’t work, what else you can try?

Destroying it with a pickaxe or some other weapon will also not yield results. You can not destroy it in this way. Throwing your own Pals at it will not trigger the trap. Nevertheless, there is one solution that works. You will simply need to lure in a wild Pal to attack you and cross over the trap.

“I tested it, and the solution is to make a wild Pal aggressive towards you and pull it to your traps, and when the traps trigger, they will get destroyed,” says Steam user mono_wolf. “Be aware, though, that you don’t have any Pals in your base, or they will attack the wild Pal to defend you.” So there you have it. The only way to remove bear traps in Palworld is by luring wild Pals. Given that it is a single-use item, it will disappear once it damages a pal.
