Where to Get High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld

As far as we know, the only way to get High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld is to harvest it from specific Pals. There’s no merciful way to do this, as far as I know; you have to end their lives to do this. If I’m wrong, let me know in the comments. In the list below, you can find all the Pals that can drop this material. Which isn’t to say that they’re all an equally good source. Some are more difficult to put down, others don’t drop the Oil as often or don’t spawn that much, etc. But before we get to those details, here’s the list.

  • Digtoise
  • Elphidran
  • Flambelle
  • Grintale
  • Mammorest
  • Quivern
  • Relaxaurus
  • Woolipop
  • Dumud (thanks, anonymous commenter)

The best ways to get High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld, in our experience, is to hunt down Digtoises and/or Mammorests. The former can be found in the desert biome, and the latter in bamboo groves, which can be found closer to the usual starting point. Both of these spawn fairly often, which is good for our needs, and they both drop large quantities of oil upon death. Now, neither are the easiest in the world to take down, but they’re not too bad either. As long as you have a gun or bow at hand and a powerful enough Pal at your side, they’ll be no problem at all.

So, yeah, that’s how that works. And in case you’re wondering what the High Quality Pal Oil is for, it’s used to make Polymer. That, in turn, is for crafting various weapons, like the Bolt Action Rifle, the Assault Rifle, the Rocket Launcher, and two Shotguns.
