Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl has a lot of locations that you will get the opportunity to visit during the course of the game. Since powerful Pokemon and helpful items are scattered all over the gameworld, it’s necessary to do as much exploring in Pokemon BDSP as you can. Of course, there are some locations that you will have a much harder time getting to than others. Route 224 is one such place, and to be able to access it, you will need to fulfil a lengthy list of prerequisites. How to Get to Route 224 Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

The entrance to Route 224 is inside the Victory Road. However, you will be able to access it only after you have defeated the Elite Four and gotten the National Dex. If you try to do this before you have done these, you will find that your way is blocked by an NPC refusing to move. There is no other way that you can move this character, other than defeating the Elite 4 and receiving the ND.

Once you are in the Victory Road, go down the bridge and Rock Climb down, go across the gap, then up, go under the bridge, and the entrance that you are looking for will be there. You will also need to progress through two more rooms until you reach Route 224. Navigating the second one is much easier if you have Surf. Finally, you will then enter Route 224 on the other side of this room. There are plenty of great Pokemon and items that you will be able to get here, such as the Destiny Knot – a great item if you are looking to breed your Pokemon.
