Pokemon GO Bunnelby Spotlight Hour

The April 2022 Pokemon GO Bunnelby spotlight hour is going to begin at 6 PM local time on Tuesday, April 12th, and end at 7 PM local time on the same date. So, pretty usual fair for these mini-events; nothing to write home about. During this hour, Bunnelby is going to be spawning much more often, including the Shiny variant (more on that in the next section). The event bonus this time around is double evolution XP. In other words, you’ll earn twice the XP for each evolution you perform. It’s not exactly the most engaging bonus of the bunch, I know, but it is what it is.

Can Bunnelby Be Shiny?

Yes, Bunnelby can be shiny in Pokemon GO, so the April 2022 spotlight hour will be a great opportunity to catch one. Even if you do have a shiny Bunnelby in your storage, might as well get another and evolve it into a Diggersby. Then you can have one of each. One thing I do have to mention is that a shiny Bunnelby is kinda hard to tell apart from the regular version. The only difference is in the color of the tips of the ears, the feet and the fur around the neck. In the case of the regular Bunnelby, those bits are brown; if it’s shiny, those parts will be light gray. So, keep your eyes peeled while hunting.
