Pokemon GO Chinchou Spotlight Hour – Shiny Chinchou November 2021

Chinchou Spotlight Hour Pokemon GO

The Chinchou Pokemon GO spotlight hour takes place on November 9th, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time. During this hour, Chinchou will spawn way more often in the wild, allowing you to grind up more of this particular Pokemon for evolution purposes. Perhaps more importantly than that, you’ll also have a way higher chance of catching a shiny Chinchou, in case you want one. More on that in the next section. Last, but not least, you’ll get twice the transfer Candy during the spotlight hour mini-event. This will happen for every Pokemon you transfer, of course; it’s not just for Chinchous.

Can Chinchou be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Chinchou can be shiny in Pokemon GO, especially during the Spotlight Hour in November 2021 (and any other time it’s the featured Pokemon). The shiny version of Chinchou looks relatively similar to the original; the one major difference is that its eyes and bulbs are light-green rather than yellow. The color of the body is also different, being more of an eggshell blue / cyan than a dark blue. That feature is not necessarily the most noticeable, especially if you have trouble seeing colors, but the bulbs and the eyes should be a dead giveaway. So, yeah, if you want to get your hands on a shiny Chinchou, make sure to give this spotlight hour a go.
