How to Get ACNH Pillars in Animal Crossing New Horizons

To get ACNH pillars in Animal Crossing New Horizons, the first step is to download and install the new Happy Home Paradise DLC. Next, after Tom Nook gives you a call, head to the airport to meet Lottie. Accept her offer to help in designing vacation homes, and keep at it until she promotes you to Famous Designer. When that happens, and you talk to Niko about DIY projects, he will tell you about some DIY projects of his own. One day after that, go to the school and talk to Niko again to unlock a bunch of new stuff you can build. This will include pillars, partition walls, counters, and more. In short, you’ll have many more options to spruce up the homes you’re building.

Of course, there’s still the matter of materials. There are two types of pillar, wooden and simple, which require different resources. Specifically, the wooden pillar is made of 2x wood, 2x hardwood and 2x softwood, while the simple pillar needs 2x clay and 2x stone. Incidentally, you can place pillars in your own home, not just vacation homes. In fact, the only limitation is that they can’t be outside. Just go into an indoor area that you can decorate and press down on the d-pad, then tab over to the “Other” category. That’s where you’ll find pillars. You can figure it out from there, I’m pretty sure.
