Pokemon GO Diglett Spotlight Hour

The January 2022 Pokemon GO Diglett Spotlight Hour event will take place on Tuesday, January 11th, from 6 PM local time to 7 PM local time. Nothing unusual there. Obviously, the main attraction will be Diglett, which will be spawning much more often than they usually do in the wild. On top of that, you’ll also get double the Catch Stardust while the event lasts. This will be more than handy if you’re building up towards any kind of evolution. Which you should, by the way, because Dugtrio, Diglett’s evolution, is good to have in the Great League, apparently. I wouldn’t know, I stay away from playing with other people. So, with all of that said, we have one more important question to answer…

Can Diglett be Shiny?

Yes, Diglett can be shiny in Pokemon Go, so the January 2022 Spotlight Hour will be a great chance to grab one, if you don’t have one already. Or even if you do have a shiny Diglett, why not get more? Of course, all shiny Pokemon are rare, so there’s never any guarantee that you will run into one, but Spotlight Hours are your best opportunities, seeing as how the featured Pokemon appears so much more often while the event lasts. It just stacks the numbers slightly in your favor, even if not by that much. So, be sure to make the most of the event, and good luck. Side note: shiny Digletts look very similar to the regular ones, so keep your peepers peeled.
