Pokemon GO Mega Latias and Latios Counters

Before we get into the weakness and best counters for Mega Latias and Latios in Pokemon GO, let’s dive straight into the counters. You want to go for either Dragon, Ghost, Fairy, Bug, Dark or Ice-type attacks. That should give you plenty of room to maneuver. Mega Latios and Latias Weakness, Best Moveset in Pokemon GO

As you’ve probably already caught on, the main weaknesses of these Pokemon are Dragon, Ghost, Fairy, Bug, Dark or Ice-type attacks. All of them do 160% damage. The list above skews mostly towards Dragon-types, since they hit hard and Latios and Latias are really strong. However, it’s not a must; use whatever works best for you.

As for the best moveset, that’s mostly up for you to decide. As far as Quick Moves go, they both have Zen Headbutt (Psychic) and Dragon Breath (Dragon), and Latias can also have Charm (Fairy). When it comes to Charge Moves, they both have Psychic (Psychic). Latios can also have Dragon Claw (Dragon), Solar Beam (Grass) and Luster Purge (Psychic), which is a legacy move exclusive to raids. Latias, on the other hand, can come with Outrage (Dragon), Thunder (Electric) and the aforementioned exclusive Luster Purge.
