Pokemon GO Party Play Codes

The Pokemon GO 2023 Party Play Codes are the method the game uses to join Trainers into a party, allowing them to go adventuring together and complete specific tasks. This is one of the main aspects of the current event, but it will most likely remain as a feature for the foreseeable future. The person creating the party has to share their codes with nearby Trainers in order to party up, but the fact is that not everyone is keyed into their local Trainer community. So, if you want to, you can leave your codes in the comments below. You can also maybe tell people which city or town or whatever you’re from, but don’t doxx yourself.

Pokemon GO Join and Host Party

The Party Codes in Pokemon GO in 2023 are one of the ways to build a party and play together. We covered the system in detail in our Complete 10 Party Challenges in Welcome Party guide, but here’s the quick rundown. If you’re hosting, go into your Trainer profile and tap the Party tab in the top right. Select “Create” and generate the code or QR code for people to use. Up to 3 nearby Trainers can join. For those that are joining, select “Join Party” instead of “Host” and either enter the numerical code or scan the QR to hop in. Now, you might experience some problems here, which brings us to our next point.

Pokemon GO Party Codes Not Working

If the 2023 Pokemon GO Party Codes are not working, there are several potential causes. The most common one is that only Trainers who are near you can join. According to Reddit, the maximum distance is 500 meters from you, which translates to around 547 yards, or 1640 feet. So, Parties hinge on geographical closeness; you unfortunately can’t team up with a friend from a different city, let alone country or continent. That’s the most likely reason why the Party Codes are borked for you. Also, everyone needs to be level 15 or over. If you are close enough but still can’t use the code, then the app is messing up. Restart the game and try again, or have the host remake the party. Or, check out this guide.
