Pokemon GO Bulbasaur Community Day 2022 Release Date & Time

The second Community Day for January 2022 has a release date and time, and this Pokemon Go event will concentrate on Bulbasaur. A rerun of a previous event, it has several special perks on offer. Many people are also wondering if it is possible to bag a shiny version. If you missed out on the last one, you need to attend this limited-time offer. Pokemon GO Bulbasaur Community Day 2022 Start Date & Time

This community day is a rerun of a previous event, allowing those who missed out to catch up. It is the second one in January and will happen on Saturday, January 22nd. Be wary, as unlike most community days it only lasts a few hours running from 2 to 5 pm local time.

The event is going right back to its literal roots with Bulbasaur.  You can expect increased spawns for the grass Pokemon, allowing you to stock up on candy. Triple the amount of XP can be earned when you catch Pokemon during the event. Lure modules you activate will also last for three hours. Free Ultra Balls are ready for collection at the item shop.

Bulbasaur Community Day classic is also available to take part in. For this, you need to buy a virtual ticket. It will cost $1 from the item shop and lets you conduct the Special Research task. A bundle costing 1280 PokeCoins is also available containing Ultra Balls, Lucky Eggs, Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM. Finally, any Ivysaur that evolves to Venusaur during the event or caught Venusaur will know the charge attack, Frenzy Plant.

Can Bulbasaur Be Shiny?

Bulbasaur can be shiny and will be available during the event. You need to keep your eyes open though, as the shiny version does not look that different from the standard. Shiny Venusaur and Ivysaur are much easier to spot, as their flower is yellow in color.
