This week, the Pokemon spotlight shines on Spritzee. The hour will take place between 6 pm to 7 pm local time on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022. At this time, there will be increased spawn rates for Spritzee. You will also benefit from a bonus of double catch stardust.

Spritzee is a generation VI fairy-type Pokemon. It is a pink bird, with a large, curved beak. It evolves into Aromatisse, usually needing a trade while it holds a sachet. It has the nickname of the perfume Pokemon as it lets off a range of fragrances to delight those in its presence.

An hour is not a long time, so there are several things you can do to prepare yourself. Start by making sure you have a large stash of Pokeballs. This ensures you won’t run out during the event. 

You can also stock up on berries so you can maximize the double catch stardust bonus. Clear out your storage box to house the Pokemon you catch. Make sure to get some incense to increase your chances.

Can Spritzee Be Shiny?

Unfortunately, the shiny version of Spritzee has not yet arrived in the world of Pokemon Go. This means its evolved form, Aromatisse, is not available in the shiny form either. It is not known when a shiny variant will arrive, but it is certain it won’t be in time for spotlight hour on February 8th. Next week the spotlight will fall on Koffing, followed by Voltorb the week after.
