Pokemon GO Tails of Adventure Ticket, Is It Worth It?

Out to Play is a new event in Pokemon GO. Taking place from Wednesday, September 27th, 2023, at 10 AM your Local Time, until Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at 8 PM your Local Time, it comes with the usual assortment of bonuses, increased spawns, and Timed Research. And a special Paid Timed Research called Tails of Adventure. Often mistakenly referred to as Tales of Adventure, the Tails of Adventure requires you to purchase a ticket before you can get access to its content. Which begs the question – is it worth it to buy the Pokemon GO Tails of Adventure ticket? We’re going to see what you can get from it and try to answer this question right here.

Pokemon GO Tails of Adventure Research Tasks and Rewards

The Tails of Adventure Research consists of pretty simple tasks. Namely, all that you need to do is to walk a certain amount of distance. The rewards for doing so consist of the following: x6 encounters with Hisuian Growlithe, x5 encounters with Growlithe, x2 Incubators, and x1 Super Incubator. Let’s see the tasks themselves:

• Walk 1 km. Reward: Hisuian Growlithe.
• Walk 1 km. Reward: Growlithe.
• Walk 2 km. Reward: Hisuian Growlithe.
• Walk 2 km. Reward: Growlithe.
• Walk 3 km. Reward: Hisuian Growlithe.
• Walk 3 km. Reward: Growlithe.
• Walk 4 km. Reward: Hisuian Growlithe.
• Walk 4 km. Reward: Growlithe.
• Walk 5 km. Reward: Hisuian Growlithe.
• Walk 5 km. Reward: Growlithe.

Is Pokemon GO Tails of Adventure Ticket Worth It?

The Ticket for the Tails of Adventure Timed Research costs $2 (or the equivalent in your local currency). As for whether or not it is worth it, well, it all depends. You can get the Growlithe from increased spawns and the Hisuian Growlithe in the regular Timed Research – all as part of the Out to Play event. As for the Incubators, you can also get them in the game, from the Pokemon GO Shop. So from that perspective, we’d say that this Ticket isn’t really worth it, since you won’t get anything unique from it. Though, of course, the choice is down to you and whether or not you really want those quick and easy guaranteed Growlithe and Hisuian Growlithe encounters.
