Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock Research Day Field Research Tasks 2022

The Field Research Tasks in the Pokemon GO 2022 Adventure Week Ultra Unlock Research Day will be available from June 12th at 11 AM local time to 3 PM local time. So, not a lot of time; you need to know exactly what to do to complete the tasks and get the rewards as efficiently as possible. By rewards, I mean mainly increased chance of encountering Shiny Cranidos and/or Shiny Shieldon, since they are kinda the main focus of the tasks. So, here they are, as well as what you’ll get upon completing them.

  • Catch 15 Rock type Pokemon – Possible Rewards Omanyte, Kabuto
  • Spin 15 Pokestop or Gyms Possible Rewards Lileep, Anorith
  • Spin 15 Pokestop or Gyms Possible Rewards Amaura, Tyrunt
  • Spin 2 Pokestops you haven’t visited before – Possible rewards Cranidos, Shieldon
  • Hatch 2 Eggs – Possible Reward Aerodactyl
  • Hatch 4 Eggs – Possible Rewards Tirtouga, Archen
  • Walk 5 km – Possible Rewards Amaura, Tyrunt
  • Earn 3 Candies exploring with your buddy – Possible Rewards Tirtouga, Archen

So, those are the Ultra Research Day Field Research Tasks. Keep in mind that these are separate from the other tasks in the event; you can read more about those in our previous guide on the subject. Plus, there’s more to the Ultra Unlock Day than just Cranidos and Sheildon. For example, Tyrunt will spawn more often from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1 PM to 2 PM local time. Amaura’s hours will be from 12 PM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 3 PM local time. Also, Pokemon like Diglett (Alolan and regular), Geodude (Alolan and regular), Onix, Rhyhorn, Sudowoodo, Aron and Dwebble will be all over the place during the four hours of the event.

So, yeah, that’s quite a lot to sink your teeth into in a short amount of time. So, get out there and make the most of it. See you out there.
