Gameplay Details of Pokemon Legends Arceus Unveiled

So, what can you expect to see in Pokemon Legends Arceus in the realm of gameplay? Well, for one, you’ll be able to explore the open world of the game, even using Pokemon as vehicles on land, water, and even in the air. You will be exploring the Hisui region, which is actually the old name of the Sinnoh region. Your Trainer, being a member of the Galaxy Expedition Team, will start your explorations from Jubilife Village, a bustling settlement full of fun NPCs.

One thing that’s interesting is that your starter Pokemon will apparently be Rowlet, Cyndaquil and Oshawott, which would make Pokemon Legends Arceus the first game in the series that offers starters from three different generations. Also, you will be able to craft various items, such as Pokeballs, from materials found in the wild. Another fun fact is that your character will supposedly take damage directly from wild Pokemon, and if you take too much, you’ll black out. So, be careful out there.

Pokemon Legends Arceus is coming out on January 28th, 2022, and it will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, of course. It is a prequel to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, which is pretty neat, considering that the remakes of those games are launching this November. So, if you get them all, you’ll have a nice overview of this entire period of the Pokemon timeline.
