How to Check Friendship Level in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To check your Friendship Level in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to speak to a specific NPC. She hangs out in Cascarrafa, near one of the shrubberies on the town’s main square. She has shoulder-length hair, a yellow shirt, and green shorts. There’s also a Marill standing next to her. We’ll show you exactly where to go in the screenshots below. Talk to this person, and she’ll ask whether you want to see how friendly you and your Pokemon are. Select Yes, then select the Pokemon you want to check. Then, simply read what the person tells you. You can do this as many times as you like, either in one “sitting” or multiple. You can visit the NPC whenever you want.

And there you have it, that’s how you check your Friendship Level in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. As I’ve said up top, this is most likely going to be a requirement for evolving certain Pokemon, such as Sylveon. We haven’t had the chance to test out all the evolutions yet, so we don’t know which ones the Friendship Level will affect. As for what can help raise this number in Scarlet and Violet, it’s going on picnics with your Pokemon. Chill with them, share sandwiches, groom the Pokemon and play with them; you get the idea. Also, you can let them hold the Soothe Bell to increase the Friendship Level faster. There are other ways, like letting the Pokemon walk beside you, etc.
