Where to Find Dawn Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To find and get a Dawn Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in the wild, you’ll need to go to the northeast of East Province (Area Three). It’s on the top of a hill that has a ton of pickups on and around it. You should definitely pick them all up, and as you clean house, the Dawn Stone will eventually find its way into your inventory. Now, the hill itself is in the middle of nowhere, so we can’t exactly give you any real instructions on how to get there. So, just take a gander at the map screenshot below, and you should be golden. We’ve circled the Dawn Stone itself for you in the other screenshot.

So, that’s one of the locations where you can find and get a Dawn Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In fact, there seem to be plenty of them in the desert area in general. However, if you don’t want to go through the trouble, you can always purchase them from the Delibird shops. They do cost a pretty penny, but at least it’s easier. Now, as to why you need the stone in the first place, it’s because you can’t evolve certain Pokemon without them. We haven’t yet figured out which ones, but in the past, you needed it to evolve Kirlia into Gallade and Snorunt into Froslass. If you’ve figured out which Pokemon use the Dawn Stone in Pokemon SV use the Dawn Stone, let us know in the comments.
