Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Salamence and Tyranitar Tera Raid Event Release Date & Time

According to Serrebii.net, the Salamence and Tyranitar Tera raid event release date in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be December 8th or 9th, depending on where you live. In the States, you can expect it to kick off on the 8th at 4 PM Pacific Time / 7 PM Eastern Time. That translates to midnight GMT / 1 AM CET on the 9th. I think you can do your own math from this point. These raids will be in the game for two days, until December 11th. That should be enough time, since these are five-star raids. It’s not as intense as seven-star raids, like the Charizard one. That brings us to our next point, which is how do you unlock these raids?

How to Get Tyranitar and Salamence Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To get access to the Tyranitar and Salamence raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to unlock five-star Raids. Okay, how do you do that? Well, it’s actually not that difficult. You just need to complete the main story of the game. After the credits roll, Jacq will tell you that you now have access to these raids. Not in those words, but that’s the gist. Now, the only issue is that they appear randomly on the map, so you’ll have to go looking for Tyranitar and Salamence. It’s not going to be easy, but you’ll be able to tell if you’re in the right place by the silhouette.
