How to Turn Off Pokemon Sword & Shield Exp Share?

The short answer is, you can’t turn of Exp Share in Pokemon Sword & Shield. However, there is a workaround, annoying as it may be. Basically, if you want to level up a single Pokemon only, you’ll have to take out all the other Pokemon from your party. Just like we did, as you can see in the image above. Of course, you can also leave two Pokemon, or three. They’re all gonna share the Exp, though, so it’s up to you to decide.

As far as we know, that’s the only way to prevent all the Pokemon in your party sharing experience points – leave only one in the party. Yes, it’s incredibly annoying to keep taking Pokemon in and out of the party, but that’s how the cookie crumbles.
