Carbonox Advanced Armor Set Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
Carbonox Advanced is a set of armor that you can acquire in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. It was part of the pre-order bonus for the game. Like the other sets of armor, it consists of three pieces: Carbonox Advanced Boots, Carbonox Advanced Helmet, and Carbonox Advanced Chest. This armor gives you a bonus to Bolts you gain in the game. As is the case with every armor, it is recommended to complete the set, since the bonus increases with each Carbonox armor piece you find. Carbonox Advanced Boots – Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
All parts of the Carbonox Advanced armor can be found on Scarstu Debris Field, by participating in and winning Arena challenges. Before you can select the fifth challenge which will let you compete for the boots, you will first need to complete the other four challenges. The Carbonox Advanced Boots are part of the Bronze Cup challenge set. To get these, you will have to defeat an undead Grunthor beast named Sue. This is a long and tough fight, but after you have taken Sue down, you will be awarded with a pair of Carbonox Advanced Boots. These boots increase the amount of Bolts you find by 5%.
Carbonox Advanced Chest – Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
The second part of this set is the Carbonox Advanced Chest. You can also acquire this by winning Arena challenges. You will need to win four Silver challenges before you can get a chance to compete for the Carbonox Advanced Chest. Your opponent here will be Scolo the Seekerpede. Like the Sue challenge, this fight is also very hard, so be careful. Once you’ve defeated Scolo, you will receive the Carbonox Advanced Chest part. Together with the Carbonox Advanced Boots, it increases the amount of Bolts found by +10%.
Carbonox Advanced Helmet – Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
The third and final piece in the Carbonox Advanced Armor Set – the Carbonox Advanced Helmet. Final challenge in the Gold Cup, you can win this helmet after completing the first four Gold challenges. Your opponents here are Sue the Grunthor and Scolo the Seekerpede – your past foes. You will need to defeat both of them to earn the Carbonox Advanced Helmet. It should go without saying that this is the hardest fight. The complete Carbonox Advanced Armor Set provides you with +20% more Bolts.
