Expanding your inventor space in Resident Evil 8 Village is something you’re going to want to wrap your head around as soon as possible. As is the case in all RE games, your inventory is very limited in the beginning, forcing you to choose carefully what you’re going to bring with you from save point to save point. So, figuring out how to get more inventory space in RE Village will be crucial to your success. Fortunately, the system is simple and straightforward, and we’ll present it to you in our How to Increase Inventory Space in Resident Evil 8 Village guide.
How to Expand Inventory in Resident Evil 8 Village
To expand and increase your inventory space in Resident Evil 8 Village, you have to purchase Extra Baggage from the Duke’s Emporium. That’s the chonky dude that you’ll run into every so often around the game. The first time you bump into him will be just outside Castle Dimitrescu. You’ll also find him inside the castle, in the Merchant Room just south of the Hall of the Four. After you exit the castle, you’ll be able to find the Duke and his shop in the other part of the village, too. So, you’ll have many opportunities to expand your inventory.
One thing that we do have to mention is that the Extra Baggage items are very, very pricey. The first inventory upgrade costs 10,000 Lei, while the second one will set you back a whopping 30,000 Lei. That’ is… exorbitant, to say the least. However, it will be well-worth your while to invest in Extra Baggage. The further along you go, the bigger the weapons will get, and you’ll need the extra space. And there you have it, that’s how to get more inventory space in Resident Evil 8 Village.
