Where to Find Sea of Thieves Dark Brethren Journals Locations

To find the Dark Brethren Journals locations in Sea of Thieves, you need to look very carefully in weird corners. For example, to get the first one, head inside after Jack uses the locket to open the big stone door. Hang a right when you can, and look at one of the pieces of the ship on the left to find the journal.

Next up, follow Jack through the water tunnel and keep an eye out on the left. Near the end of the tunnel, you’ll see a small rock formation protruding from the wall. The journal will be on top of it.

At the end of the tunnel, you’ll find yourself in a small room. Use the geyser to reach the ledge above, and then use the pulley to bring the wooden beam closer. Hop over to the other side and find the journal sitting propped up by the large boulder.

The fourth of the Sea of Thieves Dark Brethren Journals is on the Flying Dutchman. Find the map table and take the dagger out. After a chat with Jack, head to the back of the ship. The door to the organ room will now be open, so head inside and find the journal on a small chest on the left.

Proceed into the room where you’ll fight a bunch of mer-people. After you get rid of them, dive to the bottom and find the journal in one of the cages. Also, while you’re down there, cut the rope holding the piece of wreckage underwater.

Hop across the wreckage you’ve released in the step above to reach the platform with the ladder. Look underneath the platform to find the sixth journal. It’s dark under there, so look carefully.

Proceed with the mission normally until you finally open the wooden door after solving the mermaid puzzles. In the next room, you’ll find two more mermaid statues and a bunch of enemies. The seventh journal is hiding in this room, among a bunch of yellow corals.

The eight of the Sea of Thieves Dark Brethren Journals is in the vertical room that you have to fill with water via the siren puzzle. When you reach the top, find a small bunch of blue glowing corals in the north. The book will be on the left of said coral.

To find the ninth journal, proceed until you find yourself in a cave leading into Davey Jones’s “meeting room,” aka the Brethren Court. Before going down there, look to the right. You’ll find the book behind the large blue coral, next to the big red coral.

The tenth and final Dark Brethren Journal is in the Brethren Court room itself. Drop inside when it’s safe and check every chair. The book will be propped up next to one of them.
