Spider-Man Heist DLC Teaser Trailer Features Black Cat

As we’ve covered before, the upcoming Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 4 will have several DLC chapters. Each of the chapters has its own name, but all of them are going under the name The City That Never Sleeps. Since we’re nearing the launch of Spider-Man, the developers have started releasing some material to hype up the DLCs as well as the game. As a result, the first chapter, called The Heist, got a teaser trailer, which you can check out below. And, yes, it prominently features Black Cat, just like The Heist will.

As I understand it, in the base game, you might come across some clues that Black Cat, alias Felicia Hardy, is indeed in New York and causing trouble. The Heist is going to revolve around Black Cat. The trailer doesn’t reveal much, but it does hint at a fun chase sequence, where you’ll have to chase Spidey’s nemesis / love interest around New York, through the subway and across the rooftops. Color me interested, Sony, color me interested.

Spider-Man will launch on PlayStation 4 on September 7th, just a few days away now. As for the DLC chapters, The Heist will come out on October 24th. The second chapter, Turf Wars, is coming out in November, and the last one, Silver Lining, is coming out in December. So, basically, you’re getting one DLC every month after launch to keep things fresh. You can purchase all of the City That Never Sleeps content for $25, or purchase them separately for $10 a pop. Or, just buy the Digital Deluxe edition, which includes the game and all of the DLC for $80.
