How to acquire Marksman medal in Mission 5: Trail from Desevro?

After you’ve snuck upon the New Republic fleet, Captain Amos will show up with his star destroyer. You’ll have to shoot down all the missiles he fires at the Republic ships. Open up hte objective wheel by holding L2, then pick Objectives as your target using the left analogue stick and release L2. Pressing X will now target the fired missiles.

Your best bet would be to boost your shields and stay stationary, close to the star destroyer, until you’ve shot every missile. The indicator in the middle of the screen will show you how many of them are left.

It might be difficult at first, but you should manage to get it on first try. Lowering your difficulty might help if you’re not already playing on the lowest – we’re not sure whether it affects the speed or number of the missiles, but it’s worth a try if you’re having trouble.

The medals don’t give you any advantage, or any kind of tangible reward, but getting them all is a requirement for the Fully Decorated achievement. If you’re after the platinum trophy, you’ll need that one, which means going back and getting any medals you may have missed on your first playthrough. Each level takes about 15 minutes to complete, so everyone would like to avoid repeating them more than it’s necessary.
