Blood Plague is a serious disease people can contract in State of Decay 2. The survivor with Blood Plague will eventually die and turn into zombies themselves. Fortunately, you can cure Blood Plague with a Plague Cure Vial, for which you need Plague Samples. That can be a bit easier said than done. So, here’s how to cure Blood Plague and find Plague Samples in State of Decay 2.
How to Cure Blood Plague in State of Decay 2?
To cure the State of Decay 2 Blood Plague, you first gave to find Plague Samples and create the Plague Cure Vial. We’ll get back to Blood Samples later; just know that they are pretty important and you should only use them when you absolutely must. You’ll also need to craft an Infirmary in your base. That’s where you can both treat your survivors and craft the cure. And you’re gonna want to cure the infected ASAP, because having an infected person kills morale.
To create the Blood Plague Cure Vial, you need five Plague Samples and two medicine items. So, send the infected person into the Infirmary. Then, after you have everything you need, go into the Infirmary yourself and create the cure. Lastly, you need to manually administer the cure to the infected survivor by interacting with them and then go to Administer Cure.
How to Get State of Decay 2 Plague Samples?
In order to obtain Plague Samples in State of Decay 2, you’ll have to do some scavenging. The Plague Samples can be rare. One reliable source are the areas where you can find medical supplies. You’ll find them marked on the map with health icons.
Other alternatives are more dangerous. You can get Plague Samples by killing plague zombies, aka those with red eyes. Another method is to make sure you scavenge through every enemy corpse left after a horde onslaught. Lastly, you can get samples by killing Plague Hearts and / or the blood-caked zombies around them.
