Tekken 7 allows you to customize your characters in many ways. You can get items to use as accessorie, but there are also items that grant new moves, which are treated as weapons. They can be bought using fight money, but you can also earn them while playing the game. In this guide, we’re going to show you the best ways to get items, treasures and weapons in Tekken 7.
Tekken 7 Items
As we’ve said, you can buy the cosmetic items from the character customization using fight money. Just press square on Playstation or X on Xbox when you’re at the character select screen, and it will open the customization menu. You’ll see a list of all the items, divided into categories, along with prices for each. They’re quite pricey, so this might not be the best way to go about getting them.
Instead, what you want to do is start playing Treasure Battle. This mode pits you against a bunch of enemies one after another, and often rewards you with items. Keep in mind, you won’t have a better chance to get drops for the character you’re playing, so it doesn’t really matter who you play as. Very rarely, you might get to fight a rare version of yourself, which can reward you with unique outfits. Tourney mode also rewards you with treasures sometimes, so that one’s worth playing as well.
How to use items in Tekken 7
If an item can be used, it will say so in the description. This makes it a weapon, or at least a weaponized item. To use it in battle, you’ll need to press a certain set of buttons:
- Upper Item: Up + left punch + right kick
- Lower Item: Up + right punch + left kick
If we find out about any other ways to get or use items (like if the devs add some in an update), we’ll update the guide with more info.
