How to solve axe statue puzzle in Chapter 4

To solve the axe statue puzzle in Uncharted Lost Legacy, you’ll have to be quick on your feet. It’s mainly a dexterity challenge, although you’ll have to figure out your move order as well. The puzzle involves jumping on pressure plates while giant statues try to cut you down with axes. The directions are listed from the camera’s point of view, not Chloe’s.

First room (one statue)

After you activate the room, you’ll need to jump across the pressure plates to the other side. The statue has a golden sun symbol on its chest, and it will attack with a swipe that reaches the three closest plates in the direction it’s facing (one in front of it, one diagonally left and right each). Here’s how to beat it:

  • Forward, forward, right, left, forward, back, forward, left, forward

Second room (three statues)

The second room introduces a new type of statue, one with a silver moon symbol on its chest. This one will attack with a downward strike that reaches across three plates in front of it. Watch the statues closely as you move, and time your jumps to miss their attacks. Here’s the path you need to take:

  • Forward, right, left, forward, left, forward, left, forward, right, forward

Third room (six statues)

The third and final room is the toughest. There’s yet another new enemy type here. It’s a statue with a red flower on its chest. It attacks only one plate in front of it, but keeps rotating quickly. Here’s how to get through the trial:

  • Forward, forward, back, forward, forward, forward, forward, forward, back, right, back, forward, right, right, forward, left, forward.
