Where to Find Hidden Treasure at Lizard Lakes Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To find the hidden treasure at Lizard Lakes in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you first have to find the lakes themselves. Luckily, that’s not that difficult. If you open the map and look to the northeast of Goron City, you will indeed see two lakes shaped like lizards. What you need to do next is go to the spot we’ve marked on the map screenshots below. There, you’ll see a cave whose entrance is blocked by a breakable rock wall. Break the wall down however you please (a sword with a rock fused on it, for example) and go inside Lizard’s Burrow. By all means, loot the whole place for resources. However, your main goal is the large cavern with the chest in it.

That’s where you’ll find the hidden treasure at Lizard Lakes in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Don’t worry; once you’re in the cave, you can’t miss the chest. It’s on an ornate stone platform that absolutely stands out in the cavern. Inside the chest, you’ll get the Vah Rudania Divine Helm, which grants you flame resistance. This is incredibly valuable to have in Goron country, what with some parts of it being covered in lava. Regular heat resistance armor doesn’t help you around that. There’s another flame resistance armor, the Flamebreaker, which you can buy at one of the stores in Goron City. For more details on that, check out our Lava Resistance Armor Flamebreaker guide.
