Where is Plum Garden in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Mellie’s Plum Garden in Zelda TOTK (or Tears of the Kingdom), where you can find a sundelion and several angry chickens, is in Kakariko Village. We’ll show you its exact location in the screenshots below. Now, the flower is valuable, because it is a necessary ingredient in the Gloom-Borne Illness porridge recipe. You use that to lower the prices in the Enchanted armor shop by curing the owner’s grandma. However, there’s a problem: the area is off limits. Mellie has trained three chickens to guard her precious garden. Moreover, the botanist Cori is growing the sundelion for research purposes. The logical course of action would be to go look for the plant somewhere else. They’re all over the Sky Archipelagos. But where’s the challenge in that?

So, now we know where the Plum Garden is in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (or TOTK), but how do you get to the sundelion with the angry chickens keeping watch? No, seriously, how do you do it? I mean, first you have to talk to Mellie for a while and wait for her to go to bed. You then have a brief window of a few minutes before Cori takes watch. But then what? We tried jumping from the top, then hopping over the fence, and the game threw us out of the garden both times. Automatically. Naturally, the next move was to try and kill the chickens. Those of you that know what happens in Zelda games when you do that are laughing right now. So, that doesn’t work either. We have to admit. we’re stumped. If you know the solution, let us know in the comments.
