What is Happy Wand in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

The Happy Wand in Animal Crossing New Horizons is actually the Star Wand, as far as we can tell. We can’t find any evidence of anything called a Happy Wand in ACNH. Of course, this might be because we haven’t gone far enough into the game, but I don’t think that’s the case. If you’ve managed to find whatever the Happy Wand might be in this game, please, tell us in the comments. For now, though, we fell confident in saying that the Happy Wand is actually the Star Wand. And, please, do not google Happy Wand without Safe Search.

As for the Star Wand, we’ve got the subject pretty much covered in the two guides we’ve written about it; specifically, How to Get Star Fragments & Magic Wand and How to Register Outfits for Star Wand. Here’s the basic gist. To make the Star Wand, you have to get three Star Fragments and one Large Star Fragment, after you get the wand recipe from Celeste. To get Star Fragments, hold Up on your left analog stick and press A when you see a shooting star. Tomorrow morning, search the beaches to find the Star Fragments.

Once you have the Star Wand, you can then go to your wardrobe and store up to eight different outfits into the wand’s menu. Now, all you have to do is equip the wand and select which outfit you want to wear. It’s not much, especially not for the amount of trouble you have to go through to get the wand. But, hey, at least it saves you the trip to the wardrobe every time you want to change clothes.
