In Assassin’s Creed Origins, you can toggle the hair and beard on and off. This is a pretty basic feature, all things considered. To be fair, though, in AC Origins, the beard and hair are connected to the main story of the game. So, it does make sense that the game would allow players to customize Bayek to their liking. Or at the very least, give them the choice just for the sake of it. If you’re not certain how to do so on consoles, check out our AC Origins How to Change Beard & Hair guide.

However, a bunch of people on PC have been having trouble to figure out how toggle the hair and beard in Assassin’s Creed Origins. And, to be perfectly honest, it’s understandable. How to Toggle Beard / Hair in AC Origins on PC?

To toggle the hair in the PC version of AC Origins, you need to hit Shift + Z. To switch the beard on and off, press Ctrl + Z. Before that, though, you have to pause the game. Then, go into the gear menu. From there, you can toggle Bayek’s hair and beard to your liking. The button combo really could have been something a little less obscure, but oh well.
