How to Destroy Voodoo Doll in BG3 Help the Hag Survivors

There are basically two ways to destroy the Voodoo Doll in the BG3 or Baldur’s Gate 3 Help the Hag Survivors quest. The first one is to hit it until it falls apart. There’s one major problem here – it’s connected to Mayrina, who is currently in sheep-shape. That means any damage you do to the doll, she will also take. You can circumvent this by regularly healing Mayrina in between beating up the doll. It’s the more resource-consuming option, but hey, it’s totally doable. The second and less annoying option is to cast Remove Curse onto the doll, either as a regular spell or by reading the scroll or however works best for you.

If you use the second method to destroy the Voodoo Doll in the Help the Hag Survivors BG3 quest, the curse will be broken instantly and Mayrina will return to her normal form. So, if you at all can, go the Remove Curse route. The doll is in Old Garlow’s Place, by the way, at these coordinates: X: -44, Y: -144. However you do it, though, talk to Mayrina next, and you’ll learn about the safe on the wall. In it, you will find the Hag’s Bane recipe and one of the necessary ingredients. For more info on all that, including how to get the other ingredient and more, check out our How to Make Hag’s Bane guide. This will be necessary to deal with Auntie Ethel later on.
