How to Fix Error Code 48 Download Failed in Warzone

To fix the Warzone Error Code 48 Dowload Failed bug, there are several things that you can do. The first one is, of course, to check your internet connection. Reboot your router if necessary and see if that helps. If not, the next step is to check whether you can manually trigger the installing of the game’s latest update. On PC, open the client, click Options up top, and then “Check for Updates.” On consoles, just highlight the game in the home screen, press the Options button, then select “Check for Updates.” If that doesn’t work, uninstalling and redownloading a single data pack can help sometimes. Oh, if you are on PC, try disabling your firewall and/or antivirus software when attempting the download, since those can cause some problems.

If the Warzone Error Code 48 Download Failed bug persists, it’s time to try a more drastic fix. By that, I mean power-cycling your console / turning your computer off and on again. If you’re a console gamer, be sure to unplug it from the wall for a minute or two, then plug it back in and turn it on. The last possible fix, and the most annoying, is to uninstall Warzone completely, then reinstall it. That should fix it, but if it somehow doesn’t, then you might have to contact support. If you have any fixes you know of and we’ve neglected to mention, let us know in the comments.
