COD Warzone Windows 7 Bug Fix

The COD Warzone Windows 7 bug fix is something that a number of players have been asking for. Now that Activision has stopped supporting Windows 7, it has been causing trouble for some people, because apparently, the game seems to think that that’s the OS they have installed, even though they’re running Windows 10. How to Fix Windows 7 Bug in COD Warzone

To fix the COD Warzone Windows 7 bug, the one thing you need to do is find the ModernWarfare.exe file. Once you locate it, right-click and select Properties. From there, find the Compatibility tab. Check whether or not you have COD Warzone running in compatibility with Win 7. Odds are, it is, and that’s what causing the problem. See, the game no longer supports Windows 7, so if you have the compatibility set to that OS, it won’t let you in. And mind you, the .exe file we mentioned is for the game, not the launcher. I’ve seen some people mix up the two, so I have to emphasize the point just in case.

So, to actually fix the problem, you just have to change the Compatibility option. By that, I mean you can just uncheck the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” box, and you should be good to go. Don’t forget to click the “OK” button at the button to save your new settings. That should fix the COD Warzone Windows 7 bug. Try and run the game again to see if the problem persists. If it does, I’m afraid you might have to contact support, because I have no idea what else could be causing the glitch. If you have any other solution, by all means, let us know in the comments below. There’s a chance that you will spare someone a huge headache.
