MW2 Shipment 24/7 Gone S2 Reloaded, When is Coming Back?
Why is Shipment 24/7 gone from MW2? The first major update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in 2023 is here. Among other things, it features playlists and map changes, including removing the Shipment 24/7 playlist. Read on as we explain why the Shipment is removed from MW2 and when it will possibly return.
UPDATE: With the start of Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded, the Shipment 24/7 playlist has been removed yet again. At the time of writing, we have no information about when it will come back. Our estimation is for it to return with the start of Season 3. However, due to being a fan-favourite, Activision might opt-in to return it earlier. We will update the article once we have more information.
Modern Warfare 2 Shipment 24/7 Gone, When Will It Return?
ORIGINAL STORY: So, is MW2 Shipment gone? Yes, the developers have confirmed there’s a new 24/7 playlist with this update – Shoot House 24/7 is back! Like in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019, developers at Infinity Ward are opting to juggle between these two playlists – Shoot House 24/7 and Shipment 24/7. And now is simply the time for the Shoot House 24/7 playlist to be in the rotation.
For some players, this is a disappointment, as they have found Shipment to be an ideal map for grinding camos. Thus, if you are already missing your perfect spot for working on gold and platinum camos, you are probably wondering when the playlist will return in MW2. Here’s what we know.When Will MW2 Shipment 24/7 Come Back?
The developers seem to follow the same concept as they did in MW2, where they have regularly rotated the two playlists. The MW2 Shipment 24/7 playlist was added on December 21st, 2023, a week after the Shipment map was added to the game. This means that the playlist has been in the game for around ~20 days. And now it is replaced with Shoot House 24/7. Thus, we expect the MW2 Shipment 24/7 playlist to return with the start of MW2 Season 2, around February 1st, 2023.
Eventually, the developers will most likely introduce a Shoot the Ship type of playlist. This one will combine both maps in a single 24/7 playlist. This is something they have already done in COD MW 2019. And given that they are following the same pattern, we expect the same combined 24/7 playlist to appear in MW2. With that said, now you know why is MW2 Shipment 24/7 gone and when it will probably return.
Honestly, COD just keeps getting s***tier and s***tier as a game as a whole with each new version released, which is super disappointing considering you expect better with newer versions, not worse especially for the price tag on these games man not f***ing cheap at all, so with that being said you should absolutely want to satisfy and make your customers happy with each new game in order to keep the game earning revenue and keep/ grow your customer base. It’s not rocket science guys obviously smaller maps mean players are closer together which means less room to run around and more shooting and actual action playing the game rather than in bigger maps, spending so much time just running around trying to find something to shoot at period. Literally logical thinking and simply thinking about the literal focus of the entire game itself, smaller maps make complete sense and easily understandable why they are more popular amongst players.

Typical……Controlled by Developer’s take my cash after I bought what I wanted then remove the Damm thing I wanted..Thats why .Black ops cold war is A legend so I’m going backwards to a Loyal Developer’s that takes my cash, but in return gives me what I want and Fun too….I will come back when Double xp arrives ,shipment I miss you.

It’s a testament to the developers not knowing their fan base, along with articulating to that fan base “they don’t give a sh*t what they think”.
Removing shipment and shoot house in the season 2 release is ridiculous. Forcing players to have to deal with the campers in the other maps, absurd.
You would think while planning the new content for season 2, the code wouldn’t have to be re-written completely, removing those two map options.
Honestly, I don’t know why they have to be so s**t at juggling the 24/7 maps. Here’s an idea, keep shoothouse and shipment split and then add a third that’s the new season 2 24/7. It’s not that hard to just have all of them. But nooo, instead, they take out my favourite map (shipment. I like the whole ship in a storm setting) just for new s**t. Though, as a beta player, it is nice seeing some beta maps again, like museums.
So shipment 24/7 is gone & shoot house 24/7 isn’t on the menu. All I have now is Quick play, Season 2 mosh pit, Infected, & HC season 2 mosh pit. WTF!!!

You know! It’s like making me play something I don’t like! It’s not fair to us, we paid our money, to get what you want us to play! Came home Wednesday from work, loaded the update, bought battle pass ! to find out shipment yard is gone! Look guys,we can’t have fun with nuke town, because its for 2024 release, damn can you just give us shipment yard 24/7 and just leave us the hell alone! And please do not combine it with shoot house! ! Hate ! ! Shoot house !
Agree the developers are jackasses no clue what players want to spend all kinds of money on this game, and bam s**t goes away way to go, developers dumb a**es
