Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be released on December 10th, but the release time is different for various platforms, and even time zones. If you’ve bought and preloaded it already, you’re probably wondering when exactly you can start playing. Cyberpunk 2077 release time Steam
The unlock time on Steam is the same as with other PC versions, like GOG, EGS and Stadia. It’s set for midnight GMT on December 10th. This translates to 4AM PST on December 9th or 7PM EST. If you’re in Europe, it’s 1AM CET on December 10th. East and southeast Asia are getting it in the early morning hours – between 8 and 9 AM, while Aussies and Kiwis have to wait untill 11AM and 1PM, respectively. Since it’s a simultaneous release, there’s no way to cheat the system. Using a VPN won’t help you get your hands on it earlier, so don’t even bother.
Cyberpunk 2077 unlock time on consoles
With consoles, it’s a much simpler setup – Cyberpunk 2077 unlock time is set for midnight, local time. This means each region will be getting it when the clock strikes twelve in their time zone. It also means you can take advantage of the New Zealand time trick – if you’re playing on Xbox, changing your region in the console’s settings will allow you to play the game earlier.
