Cyberpunk 2077 Lifepaths Video Highlights Character Backgrounds

First off, we have the Street Kid. This is the stuff most people imagine as the cyberpunk protagonist. Born and raised on the street, you know your way around gangs, crime, street races, the works. You are somebody that will try to claw their way up and out of the ghetto, but also try and help their neighborhood, if you have a code of honor. Be careful how you traverse this minefield, because every friend you make means you’ve also made at least two enemies.

The, there’s the Nomad. These are traveling people that make the desert outside Night City their home. They nurture strong family bonds, and theoretically, anyone can be accepted into a family. As a Nomad, you’ll be a stranger in Night City, which is an inherent disadvantage. That said, your family won’t leave you high and dry. You’re not the first Nomad to live in the big city. There will be people that have your back, no matter what.

Last, but not least, is the Corpo. This is the ruthless, ladder-climbing corporate employee that is the love child of Agent 47 and Patrick Bateman. The kind of person that will climb over dead bodies to get what they want, sometimes literally. As a Corpo, you’ll have access to resources and connections provided by the company you work for. However, you’ll find nomads and people on the street to be less than friendly towards you, and rightfully so.
