How to Farm Eddies in Cyberpunk 2077

To farm eddies in Cyberpunk 2077, there’s a very sneaky exploit that you can use. We’re not sure whether it’s a bug or a poorly-balanced feature, but it’s a great way to get money in Cyberpunk 2077, especially early on. They might nerf it in the future, but right now, it’s absolutely brilliant.

The first thing you have to do is get the Mechanic perk under the Crafting skill in the Technical Ability Attribute (more about all that stuff in our Cyberpunk 2077 Builds – Best Starting Skills guide). It’s the cheapest starting perk, and it lets you get more crafting components when you disassemble stuff. The next thing we did was to disassemble a Bounce Back MK.1. Lo and behold, you now have more components than you need to craft a Bounce Back. So, go to a Drop Point and sell your extra components. Craft the item again, then disassemble it again for more extra components that you can sell! It’s like magic!

Rinse and repeat to farm Cyberpunk 2077 eddies to infinity! Well, not infinity; the Drop Point will eventually run out of eurodollars, so keep that in mind. Of course, there are plenty of these places available across the map, and one assumes that they refresh every so often. The only other limit is your patience, because it is a long process. Still, it can make you pretty wealthy very early in the game.

How to Get Cyberpunk 2077 Eddies – Make Money Fast

To get eddies in Cyberpunk 2077 and make money fast, there are several more “legit” ways to do so. You can get Cyberpunk 2077 eurodollars by completing main and side quests and picking up stuff on the way, finding and defeating public enemies, completing Organized Crime missions for the cops, and more. Here’s a little list for your convenience.

  • Complete main and side missions (jobs, gigs etc); they always reward you with hefty amounts of eurodollars.
  • During missions, especially main missions, keep an eye open for safes, random money rolls, boxes and crates.
  • For example, during The Pickup quest, go to the room to the left of Royce’s office, and then through the door on the right.
  • Another example, during the Troublesome Neighbors gig, there will be a box in the corner full of Uncommon items.
  • Loot the bodies of all enemies, especially those of more powerful foes.
  • Loot what seems to be expensive junk everywhere you find it, such as jewelry and watches, and sell them at Drop Points.
  • Selling alcohol also nets you a decent sum, if lesser, but it’s more valuable than to disassemble them.
  • Complete missions for the NCPD, like Public Enemies and Organized Crimes.
  • If you’re a competent netrunner, always spare a few moments to look for Access Points in hideouts and missions. Often times, you can syphon a bunch of Cyberpunk 2077 eurodollars to your account from the owner’s.

So, those are some of the most efficient ways to get eurodollars in Cyberpunk 2077 and earn money fast. And, of course, there’s the eddie farming trick that we’ve described up top. If you know of any other methods, by all means, let us know in the comments below.
