How to Get Request Backup Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhack?

To get the Request Backup quickhack in Cyberpunk 2077, you can craft it, buy it, or potentially get it as a drop after killing a netrunner. What we have to note here is that there are two versions of this particular hack, Uncommon and Epic. Both versions do the same thing: it “calls over one enemy squad member.” The only difference is that the Epic version also works on enemies engaged in combat. So, depending on your needs, you might be able to settle for the “lesser” version. It’s up to you to decide.

If you plan to get Request Backup in Cyberpunk 2077 by crafting, keep in mind that you’ll have to have the stats to back it up. For example, if you want the Epic hack, you’ll need an Intelligence score of 16. Then, you have to take the Quickhacking perk called Hacker Overlord. This allows you to craft Epic quickhacks. From there, you have to gather the resources, and only then can you craft it.

If you plan to purchase it, feel free to browse all stores that sell quickhacks. For example, we found the Uncommon version in the Dewdrop Inn at the top of Kabuki market. When it comes to hunting it down as a drop, well, that’s gonna be a project. Any netrunner that you run into could be a potential source, but never a guaranteed one.

Speaking of, that’s also the way that you can get the Detonate Grenade quickhack. Take a look at that guide to see what it’s all about. I bring it up, because the Cyberpunk 2077 Request Backup quick hack can potentially work really well in synergy with Detonate Grenade.

If you need help with anything else in the game, we have guides for you to check out. For example, if you don’t know how to remove the virus from the chip and find the Militech Datashard correct cack sequence we can help. Or, can you save Jackie in Cyberpunk 2077? We'll also help with your first Cyberpunk 2077 braindance during the Information quest.
