For all of its eventual success, it’s safe to say that Cyberpunk 2077 had a very underwhelming launch. Filled with all manner of bugs and other technical issues, these drowned out all the other positives in the game, such as its excellent story and quest design. Thankfully, most of these problems were fixed with subsequent patching, particularly with the patch 2.0, which overhauled many of the game’s systems. And, of course, the Phantom Liberty expansion pack, which added even more content into the game. And now, there is an Ultimate Edition on the way, which is going to combine the base game and PL into one huge package. Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition Pre-Order and Price
The Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition is going to launch very soon, on December 5th, 2023. It is going to be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, both in digital form, and, for the first time, as a physical release. Unfortunately, previous-gen devices won’t be able to play this edition. As it includes Phantom Liberty, which wasn’t available to play on PS4 and Xbox One, this makes sense. As for the pre-order and price of the CP2077 Ultimate Edition, these details are currently not known. It’s possible that pre-ordering the game won’t be an option. The price is rumored to be $59.99, which is a great deal if you’re looking to get both the base game and the expansion.
Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition Content
Can we expect any new content in the CP2077 UE which is going to be exclusive to this edition? Again, this is something that we simply don’t know at this time. Still, it’s very possible that CDPR is going to include a few extras just for Ultimate Edition owners. But we don’t expect this to be anything major, maybe a few minor outfits or other such bonuses. The main draw of this is that you are going to have all of the DLCs and the Phantom Liberty expansion in one place. It’s best to think of this more as a GOTY Edition, and not as an Extended Edition or Director’s Cut that will alter the game.
