Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have New Game Plus Mode

According to a recent interview with Polish magazine PX Extreme (or, rather, a summation by a kind Redditor), the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 are working on a New Game Plus mode. Whether or not it’s gonna be there at launch, we’ll have to wait and see. However, it is definitely going to be a thing eventually.

I mean, is anyone surprised by this; like, at all, right? I mean, there’s so much content in Cyberpunk 2077 that there’s no way you’ll see it all in one go. Considering just how many ways you can develop your character and approach problems, including Lifepaths and Skills, it guarantees at least one more playthrough, just to see what else is in there. And, the New Game Plus mode will guarantee that your second or third or whichever go-around is going to be that much more fun, assuming it’ll let you carry over skills and the like.

But, yeah; according to an interview with Polish magazine PSX Extreme (and via Reddit user Arise92), the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 have confirmed that New Game Plus will indeed be in the game, and that they’re working on it. And, well, of course that it is. New Game Plus is pretty much an expected feature in any game, especially the more RPG ones. So, yeah, if you’re planning to replay Cyberpunk 2077, and I know you are, there you go.

Cyberpunk 2077 is launching on April 16th, 2020. You’ll be able to pick it up on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. Well, I mean, you already can, if you’re into all that pre-order business. And, if you’re getting it on PC, there are several platforms you can purchase it on, including GOG.com, CD Projekt Red’s very own launcher. If you get it there, you can also get some extra goodies, which is kinda neat.
