Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks have released a trailer for The Assignment, the first piece of downloadable content for their survival horror game, The Evil Within. In it, you’ll get to play the part of Juli Kidman, Sebastian’s partner.

The DLC is supposed to shed some light on her character, what happened to her, as well as her connection to Mobius. It will also be more of a personal story than the game itself was, the developers have already said.

From a gameplay perspective, it will focus more heavily on stealth mechanics, introducing new enemies and tactics for defeating and evading them. If you’re itching to see it in action, tune in to Bethesda’s Twitch channel on March 9th at 4pm EST/9pm GMT. The devs will be showing a portion of the add-on on during their regular stream.

The Assignment is just the beginning of Kidman’s story – it will be released on March 10th, with a $10/£7/€10 price tag. The second (and last) part of her tale will be told in The Conclusion, another piece of DLC that is supposed to come out later this spring. Finally, the third planned add-on will consist of challenge based maps concerning The Keeper, one of more memorable monsters from the game.

If you’re looking to save money and you liked The Evil Within enough to want more of it, you can already buy the Season Pass, which includes all three of them, for $20/£15/€20.
