When we think of sports games, the commentator is definitely one of the elements that can make or ruin a game for us. A good commentator elevates the coverage of the game with their insightful, often funny narration. In contrast, an incompetent commentator can make us regret that we even tuned in to watch in the first place. The commentators have always been one of the highlights of every FIFA game, and FIFA 23 is no different in this regard. However, how do you change the commentary to another language in FIFA 23? Also, what to do if the commentary language is not working? We’re going to answer both of these questions right here.
How to Change Commentary Language in FIFA 23
Luckily, the process of changing the FIFA 23 commentary language is very easy. First, go to the FIFA 23 home screen. From there, open up the Customize Menu, followed by Game Settings. Find the Audio Tab in here. Go down the options list until you find the Commentary Audio option. Change this to any of the available languages that you want. The available full VA languages include: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Arabic, Dutch, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
FIFA 23 Commentary Language Not Working
For some players, the commentary language change does not work. For whatever reason, even when they change it to another language, they don’t hear it in the game. If this is also the case with you, there are a couple of things to try out here. First off, check to see if your audio drivers have been updated to the latest version. This commentary change bug was also an issue in FIFA 22 as well, and this often fixed it. The second method involves changing your audio output from headphones to speakers and back again. And, if the Commentary Language sound option is greyed out and you can’t change it from English at all, the only thing left to do is to be patient – since this will likely get resolved with the full release of the game.
