How to Fix There Has Been an Error Connecting to Fifa 23 Ultimate Team

Over the last couple of days a number of players are having issues with connecting to FUT 23 servers. And these issues usually come with a message that reads: “We are sorry but there has been an error connecting to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. You will be returned to FIFA 23 Main Menu”. If you are one of them, you should know the most likely reason for this is a server-related issue. The bad news is that there’s not much you can currently do about this. It has nothing to do with your internet connection and FIFA 23 client. The good news is that the developers are aware of it, and are working on fixing it.

“The relevant teams are aware of and currently working to fix this connectivity issue,” wrote Community Manager Barry. Another community manager, that goes by the name Aljo, suggested several workarounds until the issue is fixed.”If you’re still having trouble with this, try rebuilding your database with these steps and restoring your licenses with the instructions here. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!”

These are the official solutions on how you can possibly fix this issue. For now, that’s your best chance. If that doesn’t help you, unfortunately, you’ll probably have to wait until EA resolves the bug. If we find any other solutions, we will make sure to share them with you here.
