Check on Tifa or Aerith in the Final Fantasy VII remake is a choice that you’ll have to make in Chapter 10 of the game, in the Sewers. The choice of who to check on first, Aerith or Tifa, is going to influence the later parts of the game; not in a way that’s too major, but it is still relatively significant. So, naturally, people are wondering who to choose. Well, we’re gonna explain what happens depending on your choice in our FF7 Remake Check on Aerith or Tifa in Sewers guide.

Who to Check on First in Final Fantasy VII – Tifa or Aerith in Chapter 10 Sewers?

Who you check on first in Chapter 10 of the Final Fantasy VII remake, Aerith or Tifa, should depend entirely on who of the two you like more. This is your personal choice that we can’t really help you with much. Basically, if you want to see Aerith’s cutscene in Chapter 14, go for her. If, on the other hand, you want to see Tifa’s, pick her. Pretty simple. Besides, when you unlock Chapter Select later on, you can undo your choice and get a different Chapter 14 cutscene.

In the original Final Fantasy 7, this choice was also present. If you, say, checked on Aerith first, that would score Cloud a bunch of, shall we say, affection EXP towards Aerith, and the standing with Tifa would take a hit. And, of course, the same was true the other way around. Since there seems to be a similar, invisible mechanic at work in the remake of FF7, which impacts whose cutscene you’ll get to see later on, it’s safe to assume that’s what this choice is going to affect. Pick your favorite.

So, there you have it; that’s what checking on Aerith or Tifa first in Chapter 10 of the remake of Final Fantasy VII is going to affect.
