Final Fantasy XV Omen Trailer Released

Final Fantasy XV trailer Omen was released today and it just brought up the hype for this game onto the next level. It is a cinematic trailer made by DIGIC Pictures, the studio that also took part in the creation of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.
This magnificent production can only be described as a nightmare for the struggling Noctis. This trailer represents the grand result of a collaboration between the Final Fantasy XV team and DIGIC Pictures. Check out this new video below.

Omen for King Regis

The trailer shows us Noctis, our main protagonist, in this beautiful but violent vision of his father, King Regis. He receives an omen that warns him of the catastrophic future that must be avoided. We can see that Noctis navigates a rapidly shifting world while encountering endless waves of enemies. Also, he suffers a gradual loss of abilities and a madness that brings harm to his beloved fiancee Lunafreya Nox Fleuret.

Omen brought to us another representation of this world, that goes from light to dark and from peace to chaos in an only a couple of seconds. We follow Noctis as he travels through the countryside, desert, train station and fights with a behemoth in a beautiful temple. We can see the struggle in him to overcome his dark side, as we also, for the first time, see a white dog, which may be Noctis’ new companion. It is also possible that he represents his soul, because as Noctis traverses to the dark side, the dog also changes color and constitution from fluffy white to skinny black.
