If you’re a fan of Final Fantasy XV, and you’re planning to visit PAX West, you’ll be in for a treat. According to a press release on the Square Enix website, you’ll be able to try out both FFXV Pocket Edition and Windows Edition. The Pocket Edition will be available at the Square Enix booth (#2141), so, if you want to be among the first to get a hands-on experience, make sure you swing by. As for the Windows Edition, that will be at the Razer booth (#2343).

In my opinion, Final Fantasy XV Pocket decision is a very interesting move. The reach of the game will be so much wider once it reaches mobile devices. If that version also somehow makes its way to the Nintendo Switch, then FFXV would be everywhere. That, coupled with the release of the Windows version, would absolutely propel FFXV into the stratosphere.

If you’re out of the loop and need a reminder, PAX West will be taking place from September 1st to September 4th in Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. And, as far as Square Enix goes, they have a few more aces up their sleeves for the visitors of PAX West. There’ll be several panels and other events for the curious. For example, they’ll hold a panel for the first anniversary of Mobius Final Fantasy. There’ll also be several events connected to Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. The impending release of the first episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. They’ll also hold a full-on launch party on September 1st, together with What’s Good Games.
