Fortnite Chapter 2 is about to go live, and lots of people are wondering whether they’ll keep their skins. Millions of players have worked hard during these past two years, collecting various wacky outfits. Since the game’s launch, suit collections grew to hundreds of pieces of clothing. The short answer is: yes, absolutely. Obviously, like with anything else related to chapter 2, we don’t have any official confirmation or anything. Here’s the thing, though – you paid money for those skins. The only way to obtain most of them was either by using V-Bucks to purchase them directly from the store, or by paying for the battle pass and then earning them by completing the challenges that await inside. No matter how you look at it, you paid money for those skins. It would be absolutely insane to deprave you of them, not to mention that it might also be illegal.

Most people just want them for sentimental reasons, obviously. I mean, it’s not like you’re going to use the Black Knight skin now that there’s the slurpee monster. That one might even trump the banana costume. Either way, there’s going to be a whole lot of new outfits to pick and choose from, so you probably won’t spend a lot of time wearing the old ones, but everyone likes having mementos of the time they’ve spent in the game.
